Q versus JANEWAY
9:00 pm WOODLAND SOUTH

On a quiet day on the bridge of the Voyager, Q beams Captain Janeway to the far ends of the galaxy to see if she is worthy to command a starship and to be the mother of his children.

She is put through hilarious and death-defying improvisational games to see if her wit is equal to her beauty. Q of course, joins in the fun and the two call upon to the audience to add random suggestions to try and mix up these two classic star characters like you never seen them before.

Dean Haglund and Claudia Christian headline this hilarious improv show! Come see what theatre-goers in England have raved about as Dean and Claudia are put thru their paces on the stage!

AN IMPROV ENTERPRISE

WOODLAND SOUTH

Boldly going where no comedians have gone before.

Comedic geniuses Gary Jones and Dean Haglund have a comic history almost as old as the cosmos itself.

Gary's career began in 1984 with Toronto's famed Second City Theatre while Dean began life in the comedy trenches as a stand-up comic. Both met at the Vancouver Theatresports League where they headed up the cast of the semi-scripted, semi-improvised smash hit, "Star Trik: The Musical," as Captain James T. Quirk and Mr. Spork.

Since then they've appeared in countless feature films and television shows. Nothing that Gary and Dean have done, though, can compare to the sheer mass appeal of their respective recurring characters of, "Chief Master Sergeant Walter Harriman," of STARGATE: SG:1 and Lone Gunman, "Ringo Langly," of the X-FILES.

Come and witness AN IMPROV ENTERPRISE and see what everyone's talking about as Gary and Dean travel the universe (with the help of audience suggestions and the occasional doomed audience member in a red shirt) to make the universe and a safer and dare we say, more hilarious place for all mankind.

2:00 pm     STAR TREK AT 40! Or: There's still some life in the Old Girl!
     WOODLAND SOUTH
Star Trek recently celebrated it's 40th anniversary. Like most 40th birthdays, it had a moment of irreverent retrospection in the form of a roast of it's star, the mandatory midlife crisis and "cosmetic enhancement" by way of a re-mastered edition, and even promise of rebirth, with the announcement of a Star Trek 11, headed up by a new production team. What does all this mean for the fans? Mike Urvand, head of the Starfleet Region 6, will be holding a discussion on all the newest developments and also on the long strange trip it has been on the Final Frontier.
