Leading the effort were members of the MN ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY, with help from Mpls Planetarium, and MN Space Frontier.

The event was visited by dozens of kids and parents on a semi cloudy Saturday but the clouds thinned after sunset.

There was limited Solar observing Saturday afternoon. The cloud cover thinned shortly after sunset. Jupiter with its satellites were popular.

Also in the MAS display were a laptop slide show of past MAS events, MAS T-Shirts, and pick up back issues of 'Gemini' newsletter and other MAS handouts.

MN SFS offered a Virtual Tour of International Space station, with a world map showing its current location, 3-D star map of 26 nearby stars, and take home their own astronaut photos of ISS crew 7.
